What’s he about?
My hope is that the Coffeespy can offer differing perspectives from people who take the time to look at an issue and not simply parrot the party line. Even if we disagree, I’d like to disagree on the merits of an issue rather than the catch-phrases built up around it.
You’ll see right leaning articles, left leaning articles, and hopefully see a place where we can all sit down and have coffee. I’d say in-between but you might get the idea I support the center. I don’t support anything except that which makes the most sense.
As of May 28, 2007, the above has been lined out in lieu of the new strategy of mocking the other side instead with the great American medium of comic books. Back to your regularly scheduled reading…
I’ll be honest about one last thing: I tend to think the left is full of crazies. Intolerant jerks with the shout down strategy will not find a place here. Comments will be deleted. Not to the extent of crazies in the left, the right has a significant number of arrogant talking heads. Just because you hear 1 idea that makes sense to you, the entire body of other ideas isn’t suddenly invalidated.
Always look for the better idea, the more effective perspective, and the most civilized dialogue. That’s not to say a good “F-U” isn’t deserved now and then… that sometimes completes the tapestry.
