Gerald Ford - Michigan Boy
I’m a Michigan boy, born in Detroit and raised in “the thumb.” I’ve got nothing to say about Gerald Ford that hasn’t been said. He’s received a very dignified treatment in the press and blogosphere. I’ll simply link to the two I like best so far:
The Right Wing Nuthouse gives a serious, thoughtful look at the man.
Outside the Beltway says something important: “Ford always took Chase’s ribbing with good grace.”Â
Grace is something that may have gotten Ford some teasing, but it’s also something the football star and statesman had in spades.
