Since I won’t be blogging about depressing crap on Christmas Eve (barring catasrophe), here’s a round-up of insane items from around the world:
- Little Green Footballs informs us of an Indian man sentenced to beheading in Saudi Arabia (a ‘moderate’ Muslim nation) for taking a wrong turn in a cab while trying to get to his wife in the hospital…Â No tip for THAT cabbie.
- Ace of Spades HQ explains why the ACLU has nothing better to do that sue a school for making editorial decisions. It has something to do with the new nerd-rights movement.
- Ankle Biting Pundits talk about the 5-year-old sexual harasser in Maryland… that’s right, I’m not letting that one go just yet.
- Nintendo says, “we’ll fix the broken straps,” but some feel the need to sue anyway… because they can. Duck! It’s a Wii!
- The Captain’s Quarters lets us know NOT to fly Lufthansa… who has adopted a “just say no” stance on airplane security.
- The Moderate Voice showcases Lou Dobbs’ grandstanding satire on border security by using a mythical Christmas elf as his straight man. Newsflash, Dobbs - Santa Claus is a visiting dignitary of goodwill. Besides… you don’t wanna mess with the Claus.
